First devlog: HAVEN Security V2


Last week , we created 'HAVEN Security' in response to the Campfire Game Jam.

To our surprise, the game came in at #4 in the 'Community Choice' and was announced the #1 winner of the 'Jury's Choice'!

Clearly people felt that our game had some potential – so, I felt it was worthwhile to spend some time creating a 'Version 2' in order to address a number of issues, bugs, and playability weaknesses. Now that these have been fixed, I am confident that we have a solid little mini-game (perhaps with some potential to grow further)!


Mechanics changes:

  • Introduced 'Missing orders' counter, which counts unnecessary 'deny' decisions;
  • Sped up vehicle spawning time to keep the pace up;
  • Replaced Border Timer with a more visual Border Progress Bar.
